The Shivarudra Trust believes in the ancient proverb “a little bit of fragrance always clings to the hand that gives you roses.” and is driven by the power of knowledge and experience to solve current challenging problems in our society.
We partner with diverse range of donors, public and private institutions / organizations and concerned citizens who share our commitment to fact based solutions and goal driven investments to improve society.
The Shivarudra Charitable Trust , an independent nonprofit, founded by the couple Mr. Shivarudrappa and Mrs. Eeramma Mahagaonkar from the district of Gulbarga in the state of Karanataka, India.
The founders are driven by the ‘KAYAKA-DASOHA’ philosophy founded by Sharanas in the 12th Century in this part of the world and conserved their life’s savings as reserve fund for charities.
The past is in memory; the future is in imagination, there is nothing in the present event itself that makes it stand out as real. One way we can be ready for the future by intelligent use of the present to enter the unknown territory with solid grounding in facts and research.
Planning and Evaluation
Planning and evaluation are integral units at Shivarudra. The planning and evaluation teams support the organization’s effort by providing thoughtful guidance and critique on initial program design. Objective assessment of progress against bench marks, identification of lessons that can be applied to Shivarudra’s work and evaluation of our ultimate return on investment.
